Employee Management

Module description

The HR module in Cadet ERP provides clear employee management, covering competencies and mandatory training. It enables you to manage qualifications based on actual production needs, track their validity, and plan necessary training or re-examinations in time. By linking to business processes, it helps keep operations safe, stable, and compliant with regulations.

Key features

Employee Card

A comprehensive overview of an employee's work, operational, and qualification data with controlled access to personal information in accordance with GDPR. Users have all the information needed for shift planning, training, and competency assessment in one place.

Competencies

The module allows you to precisely define the required skills and authorizations for each role. It automatically tracks their validity, responds to regulatory changes, and alerts responsible persons about approaching expirations. Competencies can be linked to age, directives, or previously completed training, providing a clear and auditable overview of actual employee expertise.

Competency Sets

Competencies can be grouped by workplace type, technology, or job function. The tree structure enables quick assignment of required qualifications to entire teams or individuals and ensures uniform standards across production.

Training Planning

The system evaluates current and future training needs and helps schedule dates according to production capacity. The training assistant provides a clear list of employees who need to be trained and enables rapid preparation of a training plan for the required period.

Training

The module records training organization including dates, locations, trainers, and participants. A digital attendance sheet simplifies attendance recording. All related documents, such as tests, materials, or certificates, can be attached to training sessions and individual employees.

Re-examination

The module also includes re-examination management, which verifies whether an employee meets the required level of knowledge. Tests are evaluated automatically, and the result directly determines whether a competency is granted or denied.

Knowledge Verification

The system enables preparation and management of questions for quick knowledge verification during specific events -- for example, upon entering a workplace, after onboarding training, or at regular intervals. Responses are stored, giving responsible persons a transparent history. Critical responses can trigger an immediate notification.

Overviews and operational information

  • The module offers overviews of current and expiring competencies, planned training, employee participation, and re-examination results.
  • Production managers and HR have access to information that supports decision-making -- for example, which employees can operate specific equipment, whether a team is fully qualified, or where operational restrictions due to training expirations are imminent.

Cable manufacturing challenges this module solves

Without a specialized module, information is lost between HR, planning, and production. There is no clear link between employee qualifications and specific workplaces and technologies. Situations arise where an employee is assigned to a shift but does not meet current requirements, or conversely, training takes place unnecessarily often.

Generic ERP systems typically do not address the detailed competency structure tied to cable manufacturing processes, different line types, and legislative specifics. They also do not enable efficient training planning based on actual production capacity or qualification management linked to directives and technological procedures.

Cadet HR connects this information, so production works with up-to-date and verified data, minimizing operational losses.

Module advantages

  • Clear competency records with a traceable history.
  • Reduced risk of dangerous or unauthorized interventions in production.
  • Rapid training planning based on actual production needs.
  • Timely alerts about expiring qualifications.
  • Uniform standards for job positions and workplaces.
  • Easy preparation for inspections and audits thanks to complete documentation.
  • Lower administrative burden through digitized attendance sheets and tests.
